Responsibilities:

Constructing and repairing dry stone walls to the highest standards

Selecting and shaping stones for optimal fit and stability

Leading and mentoring apprentices and labourers
-
Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
-
Maintaining tools and equipment

Requirements:

Certification from any of the accredited programs from the UK, Canada, Switzerland or Italy

Proven experience in dry stone walling

Strong knowledge of traditional craftsmanship techniques

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy stones
-
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Safety boots and a white card (or willingness to obtain one)

Own transport
